For buskers, bands and DJs

Nobody carries cash. Put a code on the case.

One scan opens a page with your music, where you play next, and every tip app you use. The money goes straight into your own CashApp, Venmo, Zelle or PayPal. RepLinkQR never holds it.

Free to start · no app for your visitors · set up in minutes

They leave as a listener, not a passer-by

The window between the last chord and them walking off is short. Put your Spotify, Bandcamp, Apple Music, YouTube and socials right under the tip buttons so there's something to tap. A guestbook block lets them leave a note while they're still standing there, and Pro adds an email capture form if you want a mailing list for the next single.

Tell them where you play next

A calendar or event block turns a one-off pitch into an audience for Friday. Wedding and function bands can add a services block with what a package includes and a button pointing at their own booking form or inbox, so the code on the merch table does the job a business card used to do badly.

Whatever app they have, it's already on the page

The person who stopped to listen has whatever app they have. Put CashApp, Venmo, Zelle and PayPal on the page together and they tap the one they already use, instead of doing the sorry-no-cash shrug and walking off. Tips land in your accounts directly; nothing routes through us. If tipping is the whole point for you, the tip QR code page covers that setup on its own.

Sized for a guitar case

Download the code as a high-resolution PNG, and Pro adds SVG and PDF if your print shop wants vector. Put it where a crowd can already see you: the open case, a card zip-tied to the mic stand, the front of the merch table, the corner of a printed setlist. Keep it at least an inch across and dark on light, and scan-test it before the first set. Laminate it if you play outdoors.

Which pitch, which set

The dashboard counts scans by day, so you can compare the Saturday market pitch against the station tunnel, or the night you opened with the slow one. It counts scans, not money, but over a month it tells you plenty about where and when people actually stop.

Print once, keep rewriting

The page behind the code is yours to edit as often as you like, free. New tour dates, a new single, a different tip handle, a new merch price: change the page and the code already printed on your case shows the new version. Nothing needs reprinting.

Questions

How do buskers take card payments?

Strictly speaking you don't. The person tipping pays from an app they already have on their phone, and it arrives in your account. Your page lists CashApp, Venmo, Zelle, PayPal or any link you want, and they pick one. Whether a card can be used at all depends on the app you linked and what it accepts, not on anything we control. RepLinkQR never holds or forwards your money.

Does someone need an app to scan the code?

No. Any modern phone camera opens the page. No download, no account, no sign-up on their end. They do need a signal to load it, which is worth knowing if you play in a basement bar or a tunnel with no bars. The tip app itself is the one thing they need already installed, which is exactly why the page lists several.

Where should I actually put the code?

Inside the lid of the open case is the classic spot, angled so people can read it while standing. Also good: a small sign clipped to the mic stand at chest height, the front edge of the merch table, and the bottom of a printed setlist you hand out. Print it big enough to scan from a step or two back, and keep the white border around it clear.

Is it free, and what costs money?

The free plan gives you one landing page and three QR codes, which is enough for a solo player, and free pages carry a small RepLinkQR ad. Paid plans start at $9.99 a month, which removes the ad and adds more pages and codes. Email capture, vector downloads and re-pointing a printed code at a different destination are Pro features at $19.99. There's no cut taken from your tips at any tier, because your tips never pass through us.

What happens if I stop paying?

You drop back to the free plan rather than losing your work. The code keeps pointing at your page and the page keeps loading. Free covers one page and three codes, so a busker with a single code on the case carries on much as before, with the ad back on the page. Pro-only extras switch off until you upgrade again.

I play weddings and function gigs, not the street. Is this still useful?

Yes, though you'll use it differently. Bands and DJs tend to lead with the music and video blocks, a calendar of open dates, a services block with what a package includes, and a button that goes to their own booking form or email, with the tip buttons further down for the guests who want to send something after a good night. The same code goes on the merch table, the DJ booth, the front of the kick drum, or the back of the card you hand the planner.
